Making Bracelets are Fun

Making bracelets, necklaces, earrings and rings are fun. I enjoy doing it. I started making a bracelet today and I enjoy making it especially if the colors are attractive and blends with the other colors. I love it!

I started connecting the lock, then put the wire, a little beads, and swarovski crystals. I really love the color combination. I will show you tomorrow. Here are my pictures.

Bacolod is known as the city of smile. It is a small island found in the Visayas region called Negros Island. It is near to known places like Cebu, Iloilo, Guimaras, Dumaguete and Boracay (though Boracay is a bit far). But it's in the surrounding regions that Bacolod can be found.

During the month of October we usually celebrate the "Masskara Festival" where many people especially the tourists visit and take a look. And where you cound find different masskaras with different shapes and designs. According to many, people living in Bacolod are still showing their best smile even though they are carrying a lot of loads like problems and difficulties that life may bring. That's why we call it Masskara Festival.

Negros is separated from 2 provinces namely; Negros Occidental and Negros Oriental. And Bacolod is part of Negros Occidental. Around Negros Occidental, different towns have different festivals, you name it we have it! Every festival differs from each other with a unique representation of the activity, where many visitors and tourists like to visit. That's the island where we live... want to visit?

If you have some future plans, just visit http://www.bacolodcity.gov.ph/. Enjoy and have fun

My Crystal Designs

Last time I was sharing about my crystal designs and how I started doing it. And as I continue making designs I discovered a lot and enjoyed doing it.

I was able to earn when we were in the Phil. last year. What I did at first to promote my finished product was to wear it and show it to my friends especially during occasions. Then later, I shared it to some of our friends anywhere we went, then my finished products were sold one at a time. Not many were asking at first because for them, it didn't if they have or not. But when they saw me wearing it or from others, that's the time they were interested to order.

It takes time at first of course because I didn't have enough promotions. Sometimes, though I would push some of my friends to order and pay later or either within a month or two. But it helps than nothing at all, right?

Sometimes, during occasions, I gave it to some of our friends as a gift. It's also good if friends will tell other friends and gave their order, I find it interesting if I have many orders, at least I'm doing good and feeling great!

A Privilege

Last year I had the privilege to share my God-given talent to some churches in the Phil. I was asked to train a 100-voice choir for the 50th Anniversary Celebration of a Bible Institute. It was just small but many people in the mountains were being ministered to.

I went to different places and trained those who are willing to join and by His Great Help everything was done. The final presentation was held in the school near the church but only 80 voices joined the said event.

Many were blessed by the testimonies and activities were done for 2 days. Everyone enjoyed and have fun because right after the presentation of the Thanksgiving celebration there were prizes at stake. So everyone has something to bring home.

Thank you Lord for that blessed opportunity to minister to people especially those living in the mountains...

Music Lover

Music is part of my life ever since I was young. I love and enjoy music. When I was about to step in the higher level of education I took an audition offered by the institution to the students who will be qualified and joined the scholarship program. By God's grace I was chosen and became a Glee Club member and that started my musical journey.

We have had many concerts inside and outside the campus. We had hectic schedules to the point of going home around 12 midnight after our practices.

There were times that we missed classes because the college wanted us (THE CHORAL GROUP) to join NAMCYA (National Music Competition for Young Artists). It's a national contest, so we need to give time for our practices.

After all, we were excused and during the contest that was held at CCP Manila, we garnered 2nd place out of 13 contestants with 13 different regions nationwide.

A memory that I could never forget. We look like Batang Negros that time, yet we were able to be 2nd on top. I had good memories when I was still in college. How about you? Hope you have had good memories too...
