My Crystal Designs

Last time I was sharing about my crystal designs and how I started doing it. And as I continue making designs I discovered a lot and enjoyed doing it.

I was able to earn when we were in the Phil. last year. What I did at first to promote my finished product was to wear it and show it to my friends especially during occasions. Then later, I shared it to some of our friends anywhere we went, then my finished products were sold one at a time. Not many were asking at first because for them, it didn't if they have or not. But when they saw me wearing it or from others, that's the time they were interested to order.

It takes time at first of course because I didn't have enough promotions. Sometimes, though I would push some of my friends to order and pay later or either within a month or two. But it helps than nothing at all, right?

Sometimes, during occasions, I gave it to some of our friends as a gift. It's also good if friends will tell other friends and gave their order, I find it interesting if I have many orders, at least I'm doing good and feeling great!

Great Occasions

I remember our christmas party last Dec. with other friends here in Hatyai. It was an enjoyable night for all of us, though we were only few but we enjoyed a lot.
A friend gave a message through doing an advent, it's quite a different way of celebrating christmas. Most of us experienced it for the first time, it's simple yet the true meaning of christmas was there.

We had also a kind of exchange gift that is different from what we expected. If you're watching us you will really enjoy. That was also a different kind of exchanging gifts. It's nice to have friends who knew other kinds of gift giving or exchanging gifts. It's fun...

After which, we had played a lot because my sweetie introduced different kinds of games for everyone to enjoy. We had really a lot of fun. We ended around 11 pm. I could say that all of us gave the best laugh to the fullest without any reservation. That was a great and enjoyable occasion for all of us present.

I just remember because Valentine's day is coming soon and couples are having fun most especially the singles who have someone special. It's a time of showing love to everyone.

Making bracelets

Few years back I saw a lot of my students making bracelets and other stuff. It's all for girls' thing. I like their style, so I take a look and pondered to make one for me. I asked them where I could buy those things, then later I was able to make one. At first, I didn't like my own style because it's first time for me. Then later, as I keep on trying and making designs, I had made a better one for myself. But it takes months for me to have a job well done.

Making bracelets are boring at first but when you put yourself into it, you will find yourself enjoying of what you are doing. That's what had happened to me. Few months later, I made it using swarovski crystals. It looks better and attractive. I found myself working till 12 midnight just to finish what I have started.

The next few months, I was already earning and it helps me feel better. I usually wear one that I've made and my friends would ask where I bought that thing. I told them I made it myself, so they asked me to make for them too. That was the start that I earned from my bracelets hobby. Until now, if I have time I make it a point to make and send to my family back to Bacolod for them to sell.

Music Memoirs

Music is part of my life ever since I was young. When I was about to step in the higher level of education I took an audition offered by the institution to the students who will be qualified and joined the scholarship program. By God's grace I was chosen and became a Glee Club member and that started my musical journey.

We have had many concerts inside and outside the campus. We had hectic schedules to the point of going home around 12 midnight after our practices.

There were times that we missed classes because the college wanted us (THE CHORAL GROUP) to join NAMCYA (National Music Competition for Young Artists). It's a national contest, so we need to give time for our practices.

After all, we were excused and during the contest that was held at CCP Manila, we garnered 2nd place out of 13 contestants with 13 different regions.

A memory that I could never forget. We look like Batang Negros that time, yet we were able to be 2nd on top. I had good memories when I was still in college. How about you? Hope you have had good memories too...
